£16 per 100gProduct information
It was customary for The East India Company to bring gifts for the Sovereign on ships returning from the East. However, in 1664, the Court of Directors were distressed to find that no provision of a gift for King Charles II had been made. Accordingly, two pounds of tea found on board was presented to the King, and so began a long Royal tradition of tea drinking.

Lovely tea
This is a really nice malty, Assamy brew, makes a lovely cup of tea - not quite sure it's worth the money though, gift/special occasions only! Why does it always have to come in a tin though? Couldn't they offer a refill bag instead?
