fabulous!
This is a great quick and tasty lunch -I add prawns and coriander. I thought the crunchy bits were ginger but the reviewer below thinks coconut. Whatever, I love them and it adds bite
Chewy coconut flakes let this down
The flavours are very nicely balanced in this daal and the fresh spices really enhance the flavour. However, the coconut pieces scattered throughout give an unpleasant chewy texture which doesn't sit well in a daal. I tried to pick them out, to no avail. I will have to give this one a miss.
Wow
I havent tried spice tailor products before. I found this dish delectable and delicious. I added roasted cauliflower and sautéed spinach and a tiny bit of coconut cream. I will definitely be re ordering next week. Ive also got the Thai red curry to try so excited to try.
Ready in minutes
Easy, tasty healthy meal
Great flavour
I doubted myself buying this as I knew it would serve one. I was very pleased.to find excellent flavour. I added pan fried paneer and peas to make it a larger portion for 2 meals served with rice.
Tasty
Not quite as large a portion as the other varieties, nice with some fresh spinach
