Brand
Tempeh is like tofu after it's been at the gym - hard. It's ripped with whole pieces of soya beans for a firmer, chewier bite. Fermented with a live culture, it's then pressed into a dense, high protein base for all kinds of delicious healthy meals. Our Tempeh is organic and made from sustainable GM free soya beans. What a hero!

sadly didn\x27t like this
I was expecting this to hold flavour much more. Really wish ocado would stock better nature tempeh as I find it to be much better (in the name I guess!)
Inedible
I grew up eating tofu, and have had various tempeh. This is like a solid block of cheese, very strange texture with bitter aftertaste, and not like the tempeh I know. This was used in a Thai Massaman Curry which was full of flavour, but we had to fish the tempeh out and bin it as it was offensive and inedible. Very depressing.
love Tempeh but have had quality issues
Tempeh is amazing (and sooo good in satay) but I've had completely "off" blocks of this one. Perhaps the packaging not being sealed correctly?
great substitute
As a vegan, this is a great source of protein. Really delicious and would recommend.
revolting
Ate a couple of pieces in a stir fry, rest went in the bin which is very unusual for our household.
Lovely Tempeh
Our family loves this tempeh! It has a lovely, distinctive taste and squeakiness to the texture. There aren't many other tempeh products available on Ocado, but we do like The Tofoo Co products, this one is not different!
