Tiba Tempeh
On a trip to Indonesia, we discovered tempeh, and it was love at first bite. We were blown away by its delicious taste and incredible nutritional benefits. All this from just three natural ingredients – soybeans, water and live cultures. We knew we had to introduce this incredible superfood to people back home in the UK and Tiba Tempeh was born.
At Tiba Tempeh we are on a mission to create a healthier world by inspiring people to eat more deliciously different, naturally healthy and sustainable plant-based foods.
Tiba Tempeh is a 100% natural plant-based protein, perfect for your favourite everyday meals. It’s sensational in stir-fries, curries, wraps, salads and more. Unlike many other meat alternatives, we only use 100% natural and top-notch organic ingredients. We are also amazingly high in protein, high in fibre, vegan and 1 of your 5 a day.
Founded in the UK, but inspired by tempeh’s Indonesian roots, Tiba (pronounced tee-bah) means ‘arrive’ in Indonesian. For centuries Indonesians have fermented tempeh and now their secrets out. Tiba Tempeh has arrived.

Convenient and quick
Quite tasty and a firmer texture than regular tofu, goes well in a stir fry and pieces do not break up during the cooking, nice in a wrap or even fried til a bit crips on the edges and had as a snack.
Great in a satay sauce
Love using these in a satay sauce, great unprocessed protein addition. Really recommend these super handy pieces
good and easy plant protein addition to meal
very convenient for a weekday, just added it to my pasta
strange taste
I didnt like the taste, I probably wont buy again.
Strange texture
I'm a big fan of tofu and various soya/pea based veggie/vegan products, but I found the texture of this really claggy. Might have been the way I was cooking as I microwaved - albeit according to the instructions.
A daily staple for me
I love the taste of Tiba Tempeh, with my favourites probably being the curry and soy-flavoured varieties. I also find them particularly versatile, in that they'll taste great when mixed in with whatever main meal I'm preparing, be it a dish based on say rice, quinoa or sweet potatoes.
