good texture but very salty
For me it tasted of salt and overpowered the pasta dish . Such a shame as the texture is good Also has a short freezer life compared to others - only 3 months
great vegan mince
Glad you finally stocked a neutral vegetarian mince again. Many other brands make vegetarian mince with an overwhelming smoky flavouring which makes them unsuitable for many dishes and lingers for a long time. By contrast, this Tivall mince has a good texture and can be spiced to your own taste and to suit different meals, e.g bolognese sauce or Mexican burritos
Not for me
I don't know if it is just me?! However, I thought this tasted rather bland with very little or even no flavour.
Really good!
This is the best non-meat mince Ive tried. Its very similar in texture and actually has some flavour. Its going to be a regular in our house.
Great vegan mince
I really enjoyed the chilli I made with this. The pieces aren't big, but as a vegan I'd rather not have a meaty texture anyway. There's no particular flavour to the mince, it's not like they've tried to replicate a meaty taste, which several other vegan meat-free options have. I'll definitely be buying this again.
