Vinification Details
Alcoholic fermentation took place at 28°C and lasted around 22 days. Maceration is bought to an end when the wine is deemed to be of a sufficiently good structure. Once racked, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before being aged in oak barrels for 17 months.

Wrong Year, Wrong ABV
Listed as current vintage 2012 (delivered was 2016), with listed ABV 13% (actual for 2016 is 14%).

Disappointed
Nothing special here. Particularly disappointed that Ocado let the distributor increase the price during lockdown, yet put it on a "special" which is far more than the current RRP.

Pretty flat and boring. I was quite disappointed and so was my wine companion. Especially for the price.

Sumptuous wine!
Lovely rich and full bodied wine. Has a fantastic aroma on opening, which only improves with decanting. Fantastic finish that you can really savour. Thoroughly enjoyed!
