At Veramonte, we believe in preserving this paradise. So we are careful to be as sustainable as possible in the winery and we farm all of our vines organically. No nasty chemicals in our vineyards or our wines.
The fruit for this organic Carmenere, Chile's emblematic variety, is grown on our estate in the renowned area of Marchigüe, in the Colchagua Valley. We carefully pick and vinify the grapes, and then age the wine for 8 months in oak barrels, resulting in this expressive, rich, and velvety Carmenere.

good value when on offer
Smooth and easy drinking red. Excellent value when on offer
loved this wine
loved this wine
Its a beaut
One of my favourite reds, smooth, fruity, organic and often on offer.
interesting and complex
I'm reviewing this product because I received a free sample from Ocado. Out of the red wines I have tried I found this complex with its flavours and more interesting than usual. It was appreciated by all. I normally cook with red wine, but this felt a little too special to use like that.
easy drinking
We received a free sample from Ocado to review. It was consumed with a steak and chips and slipped down a treat. Probably wouldnt buy regularly as I am a bit of a skinflint.
a bit disappointing
I got this free to review and I was so looking forward to this but its sharp bitter and a metallic aftertaste not my favourite not very smooth and moreish like some reds Ive tried. I was hoping Id love this as its organic maybe improve the taste ?
