Bland and watery
Tasted mostly of sadness
Not for me either
I'm not even sure what we ate. It didn't taste of anything. Very weird. And disappointing as we have had a couple of different and nice Yeo Valley soups. But this one is a definite no from me.
Not What I Was Expecting
I was really looking forward to this soup as it is a flavour I often make or buy. Being made by Yeo Valley, I was excited to try theirs. Sadly, I was really disappointed. I could barely taste the leek and definitely couldn't taste any cheese. The potatoes made for an unpleasant texture with a powdery, almost chalky, aftertaste. Thoroughly disappointed.
really not nice
It had all separated and would not stir back together. Endless crunching on small bits of leek floating in water, with the potato mush determinedly separate. No sign of cheddar. Very disappointing.
inedible
Totally disgusting consistency and taste threw it away
lumpy and undercooked
Soup was very unpleasant. Rather lumpy like baby food than smooth. Also the leek was way undercooked. Unfortunately that was one of the worst soups I have ever tried. I would recommend to cook the leeks much more and then blend the soup smoothly.
