Fish pie ??? I don't think so.
I wish the system would allow me to leave no stars at all. To call this offering a fish pie is a bit of a misnomer. When I took it out of the oven, both the bottom of the pie and the top edges were burnt black. Secondly the fish must have missed the pie when it was filled,Oh yes - I did find 5 peas . . . . . . . admittedly they were small, but they were there. The potato was grey and the crumble and cheddar amounted to about a level desert spoonful. No flavour or colour so regretfully consigned to the bin. Never again.
Fish? Potato and sludge pie
Really horrible. Just a dry sludge with a slight taste of fish and some desecrated peas. Shame, Young made a decent fish pie some years ago but this was terrible. It's mostly in the bin now.
Vile. Pale grey, neither solid or liquid, with tiny green bullets masquerading as peas. No discernable pieces of fish, nor mash, or sauce.
shame. it was not great
My son normally has admiral or ocean pie but this was on offer so we tried. He normally eats about 90% but this sadly only about 60% so a waste. He didnt tuck In in anyway as enthusiastically plus it was a funny colour underneath to me. A bit sort of dull.
Cheap because its a hint of fish
Yes its cheap but it is described as fish fillets - I could only find a couple of small fish like pieces. Taste not bad and low calorie. Dont think Ill buy again.
Not very nice
Having tried the Young’s admiral pie and being pleasantly surprised I thought I’d give this one a go. I should have given it a miss and stuck with the admirals! The potato is tasteless and very processed tasting and there is hardly any fish at all.
