Luxurious scrambled eggs with Mustard with Chablis white wine and Morel mushrooms

Creamy and delicious, scrambled eggs are a great breakfast/brunch option. Rich and woody in flavour, a tablespoon of Maille Morel Mushroom and Chablis White Wine Mustard adds real depth to this classic dish making it the perfect weekend indulgence!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp of maille mustard
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread, (toasted)
  • 2 free range eggs
  • 1 tbsp of double cream, (optional)
  • 2 tbsp of unsalted butter, (1 for cooking, 1 for stirring through)

Method

  • Step 1

    Beat the eggs and double cream, adding salt and pepper to season
  • Step 2

    Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a small frying pan, add the eggs and cook for 3-4 minutes over a gentle heat, stirring slowly until almost cooked
  • Step 3

    Stir through the Maille Mustard with Chablis white wine and Morel mushrooms and remaining 1 tbsp of butter
  • Step 4

    Serve over the toasted sourdough
