A quick and delicious way to prepare these wonderful greens. The combination of garlic, lemon and chilli with salty parmesan brings them to life, making for a perfect side dish.

Ingredients

  • 200g kalettes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed or grated
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 lemon, finely zested
  • 25g parmesan, finely grated

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6. In a large bowl, toss the kalettes with the olive oil, garlic, chilli flakes, lemon zest and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2

    Spread the kalettes out in a single layer on a baking tray and roast for 15-20 mins, or until tender and the parmesan is golden. Serve immediately.
