Finca Constancia identified a need for modern, fruit-driven wines, together with an ambition to produce wines of the highest quality. A 220-hectare property in Otero, near Toledo, was purchased and in 2001 the planting programme began on 79 separate parcels, or parcelas; and a state-of-the-art new winery was built. The vineyards host a number of grape varieties both native and international. Finca Constancia is passionate about environmental protection and is currently converting to biodynamic practices.

Our vineyard lies in the unique setting, situated between two mountain ranges, the Sierra de Gredos & Montes de Toledo. our name comes from the five hidden lagoons that are formed in basins between these mountains.

Grapes are harvested at night to retain freshness and fermented in stainless steel tanks to accentuate the tropical fruit flavours in the wine. The wine is then bottled after a short period of contact with its natural lees to produce a well balanced and mouth-watering wine.
