What is Harissa paste?
A warm & aromatic chilli paste with tomatoes and garlic - a staple flavour of Middle Eastern cuisine, originating from North Africa.


Medium SpiceThere are so many exciting flavours and dishes to discover from across the Middle East. Why not release your adventurous side with Al'Fez Harissa Spice Paste.

For a fantastic midweek meal, marinate 300g diced chicken breast in 2tbsp harissa paste mixed with 2tbsp natural yogurt. Set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers and griddle over a medium heat for 10–15 minutes, or until cooked through.

Garnish with finely chopped parsley and serve with Al‘Fez Moroccan Spiced Couscous.

This is a healthy option with loads of flavour minus the citric acid and other rubbish

15% Sugar

Nice warmth to it, too much cumin, too sweet, as it's usually the case in pre-packaged things these days but with a pleasant star anise finish. Unfortunately 15 gr of added sugar per 100 gr, just no.

tastes good

I was given this free for review - I used it on chicken and had with flatbreads and a yoghurt dressing. Really tasty, easy to use and perfect for a mid week meal.

Received to review. Easy to marinade chicken and made a tasty quick dinner with some roasted vegetables and salad. Would buy again.

nice and not too spicy

I received this as a free sample. It has a nice flavour but I dont really like anything too spicy, so it works for me. Mixed it with Greek yoghurt and chicken and service in Greek flatbreads with paprika fries.

Nice kick but just ok

I'm reviewing this product because I received a free sample from Ocado. Tried this harissa paste in a chicken and veg traybake and it hadded a nice kick to the dish. Agree with the previous reviewer though, the cumin is overpowering so, un less you really like cumin, better go with different brands,
