Lovely Jam.. not runny as others have commented!
This lovely jam was flavoursome and a great consistency for spreading. Not sure how the previous reviewers store their jam but from the fridge, the jam is a great thick consistency for spreading. My son who never eats jam tried a tiny bit on his toast and is now a jam lover! I usually buy Bonne Maman but I'll happily buy this again... love to help good British businesses!
Disappointed
I love jam of all descriptions. Forever on the lookout for new brands, I was very pleased to stumble upon this one just recently. I so wanted to like it as its made fairly locally. I was, however, very disappointed. Considering it costs rather more than several others, I found there to be no real benefit in paying extra. It was thin & runny in consistency, making it difficult to add to scones, toast and the like. There were practically no strawberries to be seen or tasted. Sorry, cannot recommend.
Like home made jam
It may be slightly more runny than some jams but this genuinely like the real thing we used to make years ago. Perfect for me took me right back to summers in the 70’s. Thank you Annabels right taste right colour spot on.
Wonderful strawberry flavour
Loved this jam so much, reminds me of homemade jam made from the tastiest strawberries. Loses a star for being very expensive - I only bought on special offer.
Annabel’s Strawberry Conserve
Taste is amazing! I like it the fact that it is British, grown locally with full traceability and we are supporting British farming. I have also tried some of Annabel’s other products ie chutneys, strawberries and they all taste delicious. Follow her story and you will see the hard work and passion behind these products.
Expensive flavourless liquid.
Awful runny mess, to the point of being ridiculous. I had to use a spoon to get it out because it wouldn't stay on a knife, and it poured right off the side of scones like water! Barely any flavour, just tasted like sugar. Not worth a fraction of the premium price tag.
