NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!
I was shocked at my most recent purchase of this. Wow. Quality has gone downhill and then some! I had an older one still in my drawer that I compared it too. Unbelievable change in quality. Extremely thin foil, rips far too easily when trying to use even short nails will tear it. I have been using two layers when oven-cooking sausages as the first layer will tear, making it pointless. I will not be buying Bacofoil again. They are taking the mick.
Thin, flimsy and expensive
I suspect this might have been a decent product once but what I received was thin and flimsy, tears easily, like Poundland foil but four times the price.

A excellent brand
I have been using this foil for many years and it has been consistently excellent. It is thicker than most and I feel that it is good value for money.
Best packaging ever
The box this foil comes in is brilliant, the best-designed box I have ever encountered. Tearing the foil is so easy, it’s a feat of engineering! And fully-recyclable. The foil is a tad thin, but overall a good product. It drives me crazy when the box won’t tear or it bends and breaks and makes it so hard to remove foil or cling film, parchment paper. This box should be the standard design they all follow.
