not very spicy
Tastes nice, but more like a spicy paprika than chili. Requires quite large spoonfuls to add flavor and jar only lasts a few meals
COMPLETE UTTER RUBBISH
This ‘chilli’ sauce has ZERO 🌶. Please do NOT waste your time with this garbage. I have lost complete respect for BART. They’re a mainstream generic brand anyway. Lost their path. So many other excellent brands out there. They used to do an amazing Peruvian chilli save a few ears ago and discontinued it. That was a sign right there. Forget this irritatingly pathetic sauce they call ‘CHILLI’. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 💩
Not as powerful as it used to be
I've been buying this for several years and I am sure they have weakened the recipe. Used to use 4 small teaspoons which at the time was very hot for me, now these have hardly any impact (and it's not my tolerance level has increased). Looking for another brand as buying this seems pointless.
No heat at all
No heat at all. I bought a first jar and thought maybe it was just that batch. So bought another one with same result. Disappointing for a chilli paste. Wouldn't recommend.
No heat
Virtually no heat, slightly sweet and tastes more of the vegetables they put in it than chill
Fantastic
So glad I tried this. It is the perfect chilli sauce as not only is it flavoursome with just the right hit of chilli but it’s very versatile. I use a little to add a kick to homemade coleslaw or vegetable salads, slightly more to ratatouille & as much as I can stand for soups, casseroles & stir fries. Highly recommended.
