Soup
This soup was lovely and thick and I’d highly recommend
watery
this was tasteless and watery. always thought Baxters was a better tinned soup than others...not anymore
No longer a good soup - very weak
Very disappointed with this soup - very watery and slightly meaty taste. This used to be a lot richer - perhaps because its now low fat, or because it is only 4% game.
Not as good as I remember
Baxter's soups used to be a cut above others & Royal game was luxurious. Get the impression they are now trying to compete with cheaper soups as this was quite thin with minute meat scraps. Only flavour I got from the meat I found was offal, no venison or pheasant
Not for me
I guess it may serve as a 'base' for a game stew, but the very small/tiny occasional pieces of 'meat?' are annoyingly irritating....or am I a VERY fussy person (of course I would say that I am NOT) Tee he...
Really really horrible
As a Retired Home Economist, I make my own soups but keep in a few tins of Baxters as always found them superior to others. This was so horrible I actually threw it away which is very rare for me. I used to have this years ago and it was fine so have no idea what they have done to the recipe. As game is naturally low in fat cant understand why they have had to muck about with it,
