woody
It tastes great but there are a couple of woody bits that spoil it. Its also a little thin.
Lot of asparagus
I like to have this for a change but do not like the fact that it is much more expensive than other soups. Baxters seem to be the only one to offer asparagus. Was creamy with plenty of asparagus
Not good
Found it had lot of unpleasant stringy bits in, more like bamboo fibres than asparagus. Way too much salt and a lot of fat content. It leaves your mouth feeling like youve had a really stewed cup of tea, i guess either the salt or tannin. And its expensive.
Does anyone in Baxters eat\-drink this soup!
Taste, for me, is very pleasant, but would have to sieve it if ever bought again. How many 'unedible woody bits' reviews do Baxters have to see before attending to this?
Too Watery
No flavour and way too watery. Does state Luxury Cream Asparagus soup, not sure where the cream is!
Lovely soup - BUT (and its a big one)....
Full of woody bits of asparagus. Not just one or two, but many. If you are consuming it out of a mug, where to you put the bits? Manufacturer is either greedy or lazy, as there is no reason to include poor quality spears. I will not be buying any more.
