Recipes
Total Time: 15mins
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
2 tsp olive oil
150-200g gluten-free pasta (any shape is ok!)
1 jar of Bay's Kitchen Tomato & Basil stir-in sauce
1 large red, orange or yellow bell pepper
1 large courgette
200g vegan mozzarella
Method:
Boil the kettle and pour into a saucepan. Add the pasta and bring to the boil. Add 1 tsp olive oil (this helps to separate the pasta) and then leave to cook for 8-10mins (see packet to determine precise cooking times for the pasta) Whilst the pasta is cooking, chop the courgette, pepper and mozzarella. It can be chopped as finally as you wish - see image for our serving suggestion. Add the second tsp of olive oil and to a frying pan. Lightly fry the courgette and pepper. If you prefer you can roast or BBQ the vegetables! Add the Bay's Kitchen Tomato & Basil Stir-in Sauce to a pan and leave to simmer for 2 minutes. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and serve in a pasta bowl. Add the sauce and vegetables. Top with the mozzarella to serve.

Lifesaver sauces!
Having to go on a Low Fodmap diet isn't easy and Bay's Kitchen sauces have been incredibly helpful in a difficult time. I was worried they would taste inferior for not having the usual onion and garlic but have been very surprised and pleased. I add a sprinkle of dried chilli flakes for a bit of extra zing. Good clean ingredients as well.
Very nice
Our family's favourite
Delicious!
I rarely leave reviews but I have to for these products as they are so good. Whether you follow the fodmap diet or not, I would highly recommend
Not for me
Its like baby sauce, might be super healthy, not for me unfortunately. It does not pass go, does not collect £200 pounds. Sorry.
A great new offering from Ocado
Really pleased with this sauce. Its still tasty despite the lack of garlic and onions, and tastes similar to the Lloyd Grossman tomato and basil sauce which was my preferred one before needing to temporarily go on the low FODMAP diet. Ive bought a few jars and consider it very useful to have in the pantry.
Lovely!
Tried a few different low fodmap sauces recently, I tried this and also the Fody Tomato & Basil sauce. Let me tell you, this one blows the Fody one out of the water, no contest! The Fody one is cheaper for the amount you get, but so poor in taste, like the cheap tomato sauce in tinned spaghetti. This one on the other hand is maybe just as good as homemade! Not too sweet, perfectly balance of flavours. Even if I didn't need low fodmap foods, I would still be tempted to buy this in future, as it was that good! But, the thing that puts me off buying is the price, it's very expensive for what it is. I would buy again on offer. If someone needs to avoid onions and garlic, I would say this is worth it, but the price isn't good. Sadly special diet foods tend to cost more, which is unfortunate.
