Just send what I requested not alternatives I requested Beck's the reason for this is the price if I wanted carlsberg I would have requested this I ask for 10 boxes of Beck's you only had two so that all I would have preferred not carlsberg at £22.00 per box Beck's @£14.50 for 24 bottles 👍 Carlsberg @£22.00 for 24 bottles👎
A rather second rate approximation of the German brewed Becks: despite brewers' hopes the beer doesn't taste the same and the carbonation is never precisely the same. Add to that a watered down 4% when the classic Becks is 5% - disappointment in a bottle.
The original is 4.8% brewed in Germany. There is a 4% "Becks" which is technically also fake but brewed in Germany - that one is ok. This one is the 4% brewed in the UK and got nothing to do with original Becks. If I want a good British beer I would get a Fullers - this is basically Carling or Fosters version of "Becks"
Becks has always been a dinner party favourite for me. Refreshing and unique flavour that pleases the lager drinkers.
This becks is not the original German beer, its gassy and has a metallic after taste. Becks was my go to beer and now its indistinguishable from all the other uk brewed bland lagers.
