good for dipping
I use a strong flavoured olive oil with this vinegar
Best available
Exceptional balsamic vinegar, good and thick and suitable for salads or pouring. Most, especially cheaper ones, are thin and not appealing. I must recognise that this is an expensive product and so stock up when it's on offer
The perfect balance
I love that the sweetness of this vinegar come first and then the more sour vinegary flavours come second, its very pleasant, a great balance.
Lovely balsamic
This is a lovely balsamic, yes it is expensive, but in my opinion one of the best!
Sharp not sweet
Sharp not sweet like it should be at this price, with an unpleasant vinegar aftertaste. Disappointing
Gets better with age \- best Ocada Balsamic
I seem to use Balsamic sparingly, since my bottle of this one has been opened for quite some time (18 months). It has gotten better as its aged - lost nothing in quality, thickness, that deep colour, sweetness. Absolutely no bitterness. This is almost like molasses - it was recently run over some strawberries and berries with a touch of brown sugar; just gorgeous. Apart from an artisan balsamic I bought from a local shop where I live (taste before you buy) - this is the only online store balsamic I'd recommend buying. Pay no more - and really no less either. Expensive it might be, but also try to make it go further to get the best out of it. Perhaps buy two, and keep one aside to let it age just a little longer...
