Sublime.
A staple for any cocktail cabinet, and absolutely delightful in mixed with brandy, I. a B&B
Delicious!
I purchased this to mix with brandy and this is absolutely delicious. It's a shame that the bottle seems to be emptying too quickly!
Wonderful
So pleased Ocado have started to stock my favourite liqueur. I love it neat or in any other combination. I am from Bolton/ Bury boundary so it is a very important part of our heritage brought back during the war by the local regiments. What is amazing is it settles your digestion too and although I drink it after a meal it is good before a meal too. Only thing I noticed too was the red seal is missing making me think something odd about it. Maybe Ocado can enlighten us regular Benedictine drinkers.
Old Fashioned But Deserves A Renaissance
Fabulous herbal-based liqueur a bit out of fashion now. Delicious as a cocktail mixed with Brandy 3 parts to 1 Benedictine. Or just sipped from a small glass. Only problem was state of the bottle when delivered; was minus the red seal. Of course doesn't impact the flavour but does make you wonder either how the product is handled by Ocado or whether it is last year's old stock? Either way try it.
Staple of a serious cocktail cabinet
Love this and I don't happen to be from Burnley. So glad Ocado sell this, even though for some it might be obscure. Sweet, herbal, complex, shows up in dozens of cocktail recipes. I like mine as 22.5ml combined with 60ml extra dry vermouth and w 2 dashes of angostura, stirred w ice and strained. That's a Tip Top, and a great session cocktail.
