OK but a few gristly bits
I tried these as an alternative to the M&S Cappelletti with Parma Ham, but they were not as good - there were several gristly bits (presumably Parma Ham fat) and overall there was not as much flavour as the M&S version.
Real tortellini! Finally
After trying different brands, Ive finally found the good ones! These are real tortellini! I like the consistency and the filling. Very satisfied
Easy dinner!
Nice texture, flavour is good, not overpowering but not bland like some reviews have said. Great for an easy tea!
Real meat!
This is my favourite meat-stuffed tortellini as it actually has the texture of a real meat filling unlike some other products that all have the same mushy texture whatever filling I choose. I like to cook this slightly undercooked and then in chicken broth.
Exellent if used as they are meant to
I am very happy that Ocado has started to have this product in stock. For years, I have not been able to find good quality tortellini with this traditional filling to be cooked with broth. In fact, these Tortellini are traditionally cooked with chicken broth. They are also served with the broth. Please, stop complaining if you are using them in a butter and sage sauce! It is not the tortellini to blame. That sauce is just not suitable for this filling.
Disgusting
I've had my fair share of ham-flavoured tortellini and this is by far the worst I've ever had. Pasta is decent, but the filling is atrocious, flavourless dry mush. I rarely use salt, but it was only edible with lots of butter and salt. I only cooked half pack and I'm dreading lunch tomorrow... Scrambled eggs will probably save me, but I really hate throwing food into the bin, so I'm double-annoyed.
