Instructions
Place firelighters on bed of briquettes. Heap more briquettes over and around the fire lighters in a pyramid fashion. Light the firelighters and wait for flames to die down and briquettes begin to turn grey - approximately 25 minutes. Spread the charcoal evenly on your BBQ.

How Many Charcoal Briquettes to Use
Normal Grilling
Cover the cooking area of your BBQ with approximately 5cm deep of Big K Charcoal Briquettes.
Spit Roasting
You will need more Charcoal Briquettes than for grilling because of extended cooking time.
Remember
It is always better to have too much than too little charcoal Briquettes. (Big K Charcoal Products do not 'go off' if kept dry)
The bigger the BBQ grill the bigger bag of Big K Charcoal Briquettes required.
The bigger the bag the better the value!
Barbecue cooking is easy, Fun and safe as long as common sense is used!
To Light:
Place several Big K Charcoal lighter cubes on a bed of Big K Briquettes.
Heap more Briquettes over and around the lighter cubes.
Light the cubes with a long taper or match, wait for the flames to die down and for the Briquettes to take on a greyish appearance - about 30-40mins. Start to cook.
...alternatively:
Heap Briquettes onto BBQ grate and spread out over cooking area.
Using Big K lighting fluid, squeeze approx. Half a full cup of fluid over the Briquettes. Allow to soak for 1 min. Before lighting.
Light the Briquettes and wait as described above.
Remember
Cook over heat! Not over flames.

Very pleased with how well they lit and burned.
I did a bbq for my sisters birthday on Saturday. Partner was away so had to do it myself lol I was nervous about getting the bbq started but to my surprise it was very easy to get the coals to light and they burned evenly. Will definitely buy again.

excellent and even burning
Excellent briquettes and really easy to light. I always use a chimney starter no chemicals, fluids or fire lighters just a couple of sheets of paper and one match is all it has taken every time Ive used these. Have now purchased three times and will continue to do so while they are on offer as so convenient to have delivered.

most useless product Ive ever purchased
Ive had bad charcoal or briquettes before and they eventually light. One whole pack of firefighters and a heat so hot it bent part of the bbq and not one of these useless things caught. Unbelievably bad product. AVOID!!!
