Be troo to yourself and follow your tastebuds

This beetroot is tastless compared to the earthy and vinegary taste of the non-organic versions. However, I am glad to have an organic option at a reasonable price so will probably buy again.

Agave isn\x27t healthy

I've been advised to eat more beetroot to help my liver. Unfortunately this has agave syrup added to it which is basically just fructose. Unlike glucose it can't be used by every cell in the body for energy, it has to be broken down by the liver, thus overburdening it. If you take in excess fructose, the liver ends up turning it into fat, which is why some dieticians see people with non-alcoholic fatty livers. If you have to put a sweetener in this, can't you put something like xylitol?

terrible taste

it had an earthy taste and smell. I could not eat anymore, so it went in the bin, save your money, and get a different beetroot

nice beetroot but!

This is very nice beetroot and I like that it is organic but the storage instructions say after opening refrigerate and use within seven days. That is silly who could eat that jar full in seven days.

Rather lovely

I have had this for several weeks now with consistent freshness. I usually buy the fresh organic beetroot and cook them myself but thought I would try this organic product. The taste is lovely just like the fresh beetroot, the vinegar is nice and light and does not overwhelm the freshness. Now a regular order, thanks to Ocado for stocking such a great selection of organic products.
