Good cupboard standby
Wasn't sure what to expect but was fine. When short on time it's ideal to make a quick curry. Mild flavour which I liked. I added extra cooked veg like cauliflower/green beans
lentils in dull gravy
Better to just buy a tin of lentils for half the price and add curry powder and a tin of tomatoes or stock
Great addition to veg curry
Added these into home made veggie curry along with tin chick peas and oven roasted veg. Gives extra depth of flavour plus health benefits of added lentils.
I love this stuff
Versatile tasty protein ingredient that can be served with pretty well anything. I like it with naan bread and Indian pickles.
Tasty and versatile, useful in the cupboard
Whilst this is mild it does have plenty of flavour. I use it as a quick lunch when I want something more hearty than soup or I make it the base of a evening meal adding some vegetables or fish for bulk. The lentils are just firm enough to lend a good texture.
