increasing liquid
Biona sauerkraut tastes good and used to be packed with sauerkraut but recently they have changed the composition of the jar and this is even more noticeable in the large jar. At least 25% of the jar is now liquid, and the cabbage is swimming in liquid. Of course, the liquid is supposed to be good for you too but in this case, they have gone too far. I suppose this is a new example of shrinkflation.

This is always on our Ocado orders love it and love that the jar isnt too big, this will usually do 2 meals for me and my husband
Probably not as healthy as it seems
Not very nice but bought it for my health so I put up with that. Then discovered that only sauerkraut advertised as "Raw Sauerkraut" (i.e. not pasteurised), has benefits for our microbiome. A wasted purchase.
Dont waste your money, this isnt good.
I love sauerkraut but this is horrid! I tried to eat it twice but it tasted disgusting and smelled even worse, unfortunately i just had to bin it.
Disgusting
Can't say much more, weird smell, weird taste, thin short slices of cabbage, reminds me of hair not sliced cabbage. Straight into bin!
