Blanco Nino Lightly Salted White Corn Tortilla Chips 170g
Product information
There are few places quite as beautiful as Celestún, a wetland in the Yucatán that attracts thousands of migrating flamingos to its mangroves every winter. These lagoons are also home to ancient Mayan salt-flats, where we source the salt for these chips. There we've partnered with Traspatio Maya, a social enterprise which supports and protects traditional salt harvesting techniques.

Brand
We select the very best whole non-GMO corn, which we cook then steep overnight, before grinding into a dough called masa using our hand-carved, Mexican volcanic stones. An ancient process called Nixtamalisation. While still hot, this masa is shaped and baked into tortillas. We then leave the tortillas to rest overnight, before cutting and lightly frying them to become the most delicious, authentic tortilla chips.
It takes three days from start to finish, but we think it's worth the wait.

Best IRISH tortilla chips
As an Irish girlie I know I can be biased with Irish foods and products but these really are delicious! To the other reviewer who said Best British tortilla chips , you took our 6 counties now youre trying to claim our tortilla chips get gone!
the best British tortilla chips, taste great
Proper nixtamalised corn tortilla chips. By far the best British brand that I have tasted. Funny to read some unfavourable comparisons with Doritos and M&S. These taste great and are wonderful with some fresh salsa or guacamole. For a quick cheat try them with avocado hot sauce sourced by Ocado.
really underwhelming
I love the blue ones and the Chipotle ones are pretty tasty too, but these did very little. Even just as a vehicle for other flavours they were really flavourless and dull
