Kit that requires a host of additional ingredients
Purchased as alternative to Spice Tailor - which requires a little oil and a meat/veg option - this kit suggests and/or requires in addition to the 'kit' - garlic cloves, yoghurt (high quality - the snobs), lemon juice, ketchup(!!!?), tomato puree, sugar, salt, fresh coriander. Hardly a comparable product to Spice Tailor/Pataks
well worth the money
First time we've tried this today, everyone commented how tasty it was, will buy again, please stock more in the range Ocado
Really worth the extra £§
Delicious. The best kit out there. Would highly recommend
Better than most, but a bit of a hassle
This tastes better than most tikka masala packs I have bought, but it is a lot more hassle to cook. Skipped the marinade step and just added it to the rest, as I used Quorn.
not better than pre-made sauce packs
I found this extremely mild- absolutely no heat at all. And frankly, if I have to go through this amount of faff and still need to make major adjustments to the sauce, I might as well buy others that comes completely prepped in a baggie. I see zero value in this product and frankly the coconut bits made the sauce grainy and unpleasant.
Not a quick and easy kit, but worth it
This isnt the sort of kit that means you can make a curry in one pot in about 10 minutes, but honestly its well worth the extra effort and avoiding having to purchase a huge amount of ingredients/spices (also saves wasting them). We used chicken thigh fillets which i always prefer to breast We used two of these kits for 5 people, doubled ingredients without any issues and made by far the best curry Ive had at home. Doesnt call for cream so its not heavy and sickly and a really great, complex flavour. Will buy again
