Style over function

Agree with the previous reviewer. It's not made clear in the description but this isn't a traditional screw closure. Instead it relies on friction. The neck of the bottle and the inside of the lid has to be completely dry and then it's a press and twist (until 'click') action. We've not had an issue with leaks but it is a pain when you're in a rush and refilling. I think the aim was to reduce the amount of plastic used but I'm not sure this couldn't have been achieved in a better way. It's also not the best design if hand grip and strength are an issue. It's a strong and nice looking insulated metal bottle with design flaws.

Looks cool but leaks everywhere

It isn't a screw top - it has a rubber suction kind of lid which at first I thought was clever but it has to be perfectly closed or it leaks everywhere and if it gets knocked in a bag its easy to break the seal. Not sure why they tried to fix something that wasn't broken with a different lid connection...
