Great for Fox Terriers
My Fox Terrier is 18 years old and has a very sensitive stomach now. This is the only food she can eat without it giving her Diarrhea. she loves it.
Ermmm
My Labrador doesn’t have sensitive stomach , he hasn’t been allergic to any food . Sometimes I don’t give him grain free food and I let him to digest any type of food that have benefits for him. But I got this food from Sainsbury and Coop . He showed signs of allergies to this. Both times vomited and got diarrhoea. I prefer to spend more and get billy and margot / daylesford organic or lily’s kitchen for him
My dog loves this!
My dog loves this, what better recommendation can there be? It has a good, firm texture, and it is eaten quickly by my old dog.
Phew!!
It stinks!! But the dog loved it and wanted to give it 5 stars. A firm, dense blend....if only it smelt better :)
A Worthy Product
Firstly just so you know, I had this as a freebie in return for a review. Also, I'm usually a raw feeder, having a dislike of synthetic vitamins and minerals that are added to this type of food - hence 1 star dropped. There's an awful lot of plus points about this food. Starting with the fact that it's grain free. It's also made from grass fed beef (not sure if the chickens are free range though - that can be part of the dropped star). The tripe is green, not washed, meaning all the nutrients stay intact. The meat content may seem low in percentage terms (50%), but having spoken with a technical gent based at Butchers, he assures me that the water forms an important part of the process - the meat is gently steamed inside the sealed can to cook it.. The gent was extremely helpful, as was switchboard receptionist and indeed there's loads of good information on their website. They're a British company, based just up the road from where I live, they are a local farming family and I do see their own beef cows in fields. In so far as my own dog eating this food goes, we recently used it when we travelled to Scotland for a surgical procedure on him. So we had to switch from raw to 'normal' food. The timing of this freebie was excellent for this purpose. I was really pleased with the outcome because he wolfed the food down and no upset tummy. On this basis I do recommend this food. Seconded by the principles and ethics of the company. Bravo.
