Callipo Nduja – this is a Calabrian classic. Nduja is a premium product typical of the town of Spilinga and prepared with pork meat and hot chilli pepper. Traditional, tasty and tender.
Callipo Nduja – perfect as an appetizer with crostini, in pasta dishes and a as a pizza topping.
Callipo – over 100 years old, Callipo dates back to 1913 when it was established in a beautiful city in Calabria named Pizzo, historically known for tuna fishing. Now in its fifth family generation, Callipo was the very first company to tin the precious tuna of the Mediterranean and it has retained its pioneering position as the leader in its field for over a centenary. Remaining resolute in its original principles of quality, transparency, local manufacturing and a processing method that dates back to the company’s inception, this is a brand that very cleverly combines the traditional with innovation, passion, care and a respect and responsibility for societies around it. In recognition of today’s savvy food consumers, even today, some of Callipo’s tuna products are entirely manufactured by hand and, to ensure complete transparency, a traceability system was launched allowing consumers to easily trace the food chain.
In recent years, the brand has diversified to produce from the land, creating a lovely collection of spreads, antipasti, jams and honeys all made using local Calabrian produce.
A brand that brilliantly blends tradition, respect for its product, its consumers and the future.
Why Just Gourmet Foods loves Callipo and its products…we hail from Calabria so Callipo has a very special place in our hearts! A brand that has remained true to its founder and his guiding principles, this is a brand that holds quality, transparency, tradition, its people and its communities in the highest regard and for that, we have the utmost respect.
Why we think you’ll love Callipo and its products…not only is every Callipo product super scrumptious, the values it lives by ensures you know exactly where what you’re eating has come from and how it has been manufactured. brilliant!
I love this stuff. It lasts for ages and keeps well in the fridge. It adds spice and depth to anything you can think of but my personal favourite is to lightly toast some bread and make a fried egg sandwich with some dollops of this in. Incredible!
LOVE this!
Great on pizza and adds a kick and depth to any tomato pasta sauce. It is a little pricey but a jar lasts a long time. Yum!
Great
Really good product

use in pastas and pizzas and it is incredible
spicy Italian goodness
What a purchase. Such a little goes a long way and Im using it ALL the time. For pizzas, breads, omlettes, you name it. It is such a powerful taste so use sparingly, id recommend spreading some on toast at first to get an idea of the heat and taste. Cant wait to make ravioli with this!
Nasty taste and texture
I love nduja and cook with it a lot. I seem to be in the majority but thought this was awful. it has an unpleasant taste, not like any nduja I've had previously and the texture is really bitty and unpleasant. Won't be buying it again. Really disappointed by it.
