Instructions
Cooking Instructions - General. (all cooking appliances vary, the following instructions are guidelines only); Hob - From Ambient. Empty soup into a saucepan. Gradually add one can of cold water (or 1/2 milk 1/2 water for extra richness) stirring constantly. Heat the soup to serving temperature. Do not boil or overheat as this impairs the quality.; Microwave - From Ambient. (Category E: 800W): Pour contents into a microwave dish and stir in one can of cold water (or 1/2 milk 2 water for extra richness). Microwave for 2/2 mins on full power, stir and microwave for a further 2 1/2 mins. Leave to stand for I min. Caution: Metal edges are sharp.

Try This ......Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta
2 tbsp vegetable oil, 4 diced chicken breasts, 1 can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken Condensed Soup, 60g (4tbsp) pesto sauce, 120ml milk, 330g cooked pasta.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, add the diced chicken breast and cook until golden brown.
- Stir in the soup, pesto sauce and milk and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and heat through ensuring the pasta is coated with the sauce.
- Serve with a mixed salad.

hooray its back
We use this as a key ingredient in a baked chicken and spinach curry dish. I do find it on the salty side but have never found and equivalent substitute. So glad its back on the shelves

Campbells Condensed Soups are discontinued
Sadly, as the title says, its no longer being made.

only in casserole
Never tried as soup. However with chicken, onions , mushrooms and a splash of sherry served with rice. Its brilliant everyone loves it.

the best supermarket soup around
Its comforting, its filling, it tastes like home, its quick on the stovetop, and its lower in calories than most other quick foods. I always have a few on hand except for right now when its out of stock

Good staple
Ive used this in tons of recipes and its always been good, however this time I decided to follow their recipe on the back of the can for pesto chicken pasta. Please dont bother, it was one of the blandest meals Ive made in years, they dont even tell you to season the chicken?
