I dont know if this was just a bad batch or my taste buds are broken, but this was horrible. I ate a slice and put the rest in the bin. Very strong flavour (hint of bellybutton??? And extremely salty.

Nice slices although difficult to separate without tearing but thats usual not too much fat and good strong flavour

don't understand the bad reviews, yes it's salty but it's cured ham. buy this every week, it's always lean and not riddled with fat and gristle like cheaper versions and is really tasty. star deducted because of the plastic separation sheets, greaseproof paper would be better.
Why potassium nitrite?
A good prosciutto crudo should not have potassium nitrite added to it! Just pork and salt. Nothing else! (trust me: I'm Italian born and bred)
