The « Belle Idée » was born in Cognac in 1848 and was created by Jean-Baptiste Lafitte. Very soon, the brand « Charles Lafitte & Cie » (officially registered in 1893) became a landmark in the world of wines and spirits.

gorgeous bottle and delicious champagne

A beautiful bottle of champagne. We bought it as a gift and it felt like a special present. A subtle flavour and not too dry. It was a real treat to celebrate a birthday

Very disappointed

I am so pleased that I brought this champagne whilst on offer it is so dry and left me with the most terrible headache 🤕 it is not worth the money and I will not be purchasing again just wondering what to do with the bottles I have left.
