Awful
Bought this vegetable lasagne, which is very expensive for the size, i was expecting it to be delicious , fresh vegetables and qood quality cheese. it was awful! What a soggy, cheap tasting load of mush...it also had ( remarked on in another review ).a very strange all pervading taste! i could smell this whilst it was cooking! i shall definitely not be buying this again..... For money (£6) i could have nade a beautiful home made lasagne with high end ingredients and fed several people.! i also used to praise Charlie Bighams as excellent readt meals....i honestly dont know what has happened to the quality.
Ok for a quick meal
I got two on flash sale. I thought it would be great for lunch when im super busy. I had a issue with the veggies on top they were just a bit hard and not so lovely. Defo wont buy at full price and even on flash sale is a bit expensive considering how small it it. Not so sure id buy again
Absolutely banging
Do not understand the negative reviews. This has layers of flavour and is so tasty. Best shop bought veg lasagne Ive ever had in 36 years of being veggie.
prefer this to the meat lasagne
Ive bought this a number of times and much prefer it to the meat lasagne. Happy that this is now available in a single portion so that I can have this whilst the family have the meat version.
veg las
I've much enjoyed CBs products in the past, but my wife and I found this product almost inedible. It consists of a large quantity of strangely tasting lentils, chedder cheese and few token vegetables, the only one which was identifiable was the Aubergine which had turned to a leather like substance. Certainly 'Vegetable' was very much a misnomer.
Not as good as the bigger version
Surprised at the less positive reviews of the smaller CB's lasagna version and the better reviews of the bigger 730 grams version. I appreciate that these can be written by totally different people with different expectations and tastes. But decided to get this in the flash sale to try. Found that the smaller version did not have quite the right balance of flavour and texture as the bigger one. There were a few hard bits of vegetables. My partner seemed to enjoy the bigger version too and I never said anything about the contrasting comments. So I think I know which one I will go for in the future. Lol...how is this possible when both the bigger and smaller sizes supposedly have the same ingredients and processed and put together in the same manner?
