This wine offers a shiny ruby color with raspberry glints. The nose, aromatic, develops fresh acidulous red fruits aromas, as cassis and floral, violet notes. On the palate, this vintage is fruity, ample and well-balanced with light tannins
History
Thanks to the diversity of his terroir, Château Grand Plantey produces red and white wines. The estate is managed by the Comin Guicheney family for four generations. Thanks to their long experience, they know all the characteristics of the vineyard. To produce a quality wine, the harvest begin when the grapes reach a perfect balance between fruit and acidity.
Regional Information
Thanks to his good exposure and to it's very qualitative terroir Château Grand Plantey has a great potential to produce a good wine. The terroir is mainly made of clay and limestone. It is ideally suited for the culture of vines.

Not to my taste
Tried this out of interest and was disappointed. Wine is thin, lacking body and just a bit drank. Let it air for an hour or two and no better. Left it in a decanter overnight... didn't improve. 2020 was supposed to be a great year...this bottle wasn't.

Distinctly average. OK for an everyday wine if it were half the price, but you can do so much better for the money.
