ChicP's ethos is to be part of the drive to encourage people to think differently about the way they eat.
While working as a chef, I would witness the colossal volumes of food wasted.
This, combined with my love for healthy, fresh food, gave me the clear vision for ChicP.
We are passionate about making people more aware about eating sustainably, reducing waste and helping to stop the huge problem of food waste.
Our hummus is made from imperfect veggies.

Authentic hummus
It's hard to find a decent hummus in the UK but this ticks all the boxes. Really good.
Nicest hummus
I really like this as smoother than other brands - good flavour
Strange aftertaste
Why add vinegar and ruin perfectly good houmous? Should have spend the extra quid to get Yarden or Sabra
Bright and vinegary and a bit sweet
I generally consider hummus to be a savory, more umamiish snack. This is not that. First bite I noticed there was a sweetness I was not expecting, there were also small bits. I thought it was onion, but there is no onion, but there is garlic granules - so I think this is the bits and a bit of the sweetness. But I think some of the sweetness comes from the vinegar. The vinegar is also listed as the last ingredient, but it really overwhelms the chickpeas for me. It's a bit like a vinaigrette hummus dip, rather than hummus.
great flavour and smoothness
Very moorish and great with fresh carrot sticks or breadsticks
nicest I've tried
Although this had mixed reviews I'm so glad I tried it. It is the best hummus I've tried on Ocado . Nice and smooth, zingy and tastes fresh . Will order again .
