Grey.

Consistently turns grey with mould within 12 hours of opening. The other fresh herbs we buy are fine, so there's something wrong with the basil.

Fresh

This basil was fresh and stayed fresh for me for a number of days. Great flavour, too, and perfect for my pasta sauce.

Fresh... for about 12 hours

I was shocked at how quickly this product turned from fresh to mouldy. I opened the pack as my shop arrived, the smell was delicious and the leaves were very fresh as well as having a strong taste, heavenly! I went to use these again for lunch the following day where a number of the leaves had turned black and were inedible. Disappointing!

black and slimy

This is ok if used the day it arrives. However, although stating it can be kept in the fridge, after a couple of days the leaves go black and slimy and no longer smell or taste of basil.
