Preparation and Usage
Our Porcini Mushroom risotto uses premium Italian carnaroli rice and its subtle flavour makes it the perfect accompaniment to any meat or fish. Why not serve it on its own with a sprinkling of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for a simple yet tasty dish.

Make your own
As with most convenience food, this isn't a patch on the real thing. I had to add more mushrooms, my own stock and then some parmesan and even then it wasn't up to the homemade version we make. Some things work as convenience food and this doesn't!
Ordinary and expensive !!
I received this to review. We used fish stock and added prawns and more mushrooms to it, making a very nice meal. Without the additions, it is very ordinary and very expensive.

Just make your own
I got this as a sample to review. I don’t really see the point of it, it doesn’t seem any easier to make this than just buying a pack of risotto rice and adding mushrooms and flavours. It’s expensive for the small pack, hardly any mushrooms and quite bland. Wouldn’t buy it again.
Flavour needs improving
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Not the best...flavour wasn't great not enough mushroom. Needed extra adding to it. Wouldn't buy again.
