very poor value
Love Costa coffee and hoped these would be good. I can live with there only being 8 drinks as a lot of cappuccino and latte drinks have separate milk and coffee pods. However, these Costa pods give a very small drink - just 4 bars in total. Yes you can increase the volume of water but then the drink is so weak it's not worth calling it coffee. The coffee itself is "meh", certainly not a recognisable Costa. And the milk pod keeps dripping for a long time after switch off! Very poor value for money and poor quality pods
A Con. Only 8 small servings
2 pods for each flat white and the serving is very small. The normal Dolce Gusto pods are much better value as you get 16 full size servings. The taste is just the same so what's the point paying more per cup for these?
Decent Coffee but very messy pods and overpriced.
I bought these when they were on offer, but didn't realise the costa version uses 2 pods, unlike every other flat white which uses one, so they are expensive compared to Nescafe or Starbucks pods. The coffee is quite nice, but I prefer the Starbucks or Nescafe versions. the biggest issue I have is that the costa pods always block up the hot water injector, so I end up with little black bits of coffee over the rim of the cup and the pod holder. This doesn't happen with any other brand, just Costa pods, so they won't be added to my list again, as they are overpriced compared to other flat white and sooo messy.
Disappointing
Normally have Nescafé flat white, but thought I'd give these a try. Very disappointing. Firstly using recommended quantities they only produce 2/3 as much coffee as the Nescafé pods. Then separate milk and coffee pods so work out more than twice the price of Nescafé single pod. Finally, it's not as nice. So loses out all round. Shame.
