Almondy
Received for free to review. Not much to say really, product is as described, and tastes as expected. Proba!ly wouldn't purchase, as it's quite expensive compared to alternatives
convenient
I received this product for free in exchange for a review, I would not normally buy this as I thought it was as good to use whole almonds and chop, however this is very convenient and certainly looks much nicer. I used them on some sauteed green beans and on crumble topping. I would buy again.
Lovely
I'm reviewing these as I received a free sample. I sprinkled these on top of a cherry crumble. It really changed it for the better as I would usually use ground almonds. Just the right thickness to toast well. They aren't much more expensive than other brands so I will buy these again.
Great quality
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. These flaked almonds tasted very fresh. They had a lovely texture, not too soft nor too crisp. Just right. I used to top a Moroccan stew and they worked really well. I also used for a cake. They held their texture really well in both. Worth paying a bit extra for.
Good taste, slightly crispy
I'm reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I used the almond flakes to decorate a cake. Taste and texture (slightly crispy) are good. They're certainly not dry. For me, I think it would depend on what I needed them for. The pack size is quite small and I didn't really have enough to decorate my cake. But it might be sufficient for another purpose. There're certainly cheaper brands. Can I justify the difference in price? I'm not sure. Again, it would depend on what I was using them for. But I would certainly recommend them.
Tasted great however pricey for what you get
I’m reviewing this product as I received a free sample from Ocado. I sprinkled these on my cereal & yogurt. They tasted fresh & were crisp in texture. I know they are organic however I don’t know if I would pay £2.20 for 100g as the bag was quite small.
