routine purchase
these rolls last for ages and have no pointless tube in the middle that would need recycling. I'm at the stage now where the tubes annoy me as they are pointless lol
I really like these
I find the length of the roll is much longer due to the innards being omitted, and like the quality of the tissue too. I Reverted back to cardboard filled loo rolls that were on offer & regretted doing so - I was forever having to top up the roll holder & was fed up if the empty cardboard left behind. These are much more economical, especially when on offer.
lose the gimmick please!
I love the jumbo size loo rolls and the softness of this particular cushelle TP, without it being over the top, like the quilted version. At the same time, I feel compelled to point out that removing the tube is such a silly gimmick, when it comes to being more environmentally friendly. Is it going to make that much of a difference, considering the tube is also unbleached, as opposed to the actual paper itself!? If you really want to make a difference, then: 1. replacing the plastic packaging with paper and 2. reducing the sheer amount of TP variations on offer Would all be much better for the environment than removing the tubes. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.
Tubeless-no way
Seems like such a good idea but the last sheets cling so tightly to each other that the tussle wipes out the benefit of a longer roll.
Definitely needs a tube
Tubeless may seem like a good idea. Unfortunately depending on the type of toilet roll holder you have it can be an awful idea. If you have a non-rolling holder the toilet roll will wrap itself around the holder and end up being a constricted mass of unusable and immovable waste.
Great idea
Love the idea of less waste & would have given it five stars except the roll becomes a bit unsteady towards the end. Would definitely buy again though.
