daylesford non existent quality control
Awful. Rotten watery and mouldy. Straight in the bin. Are these not checked? Daylesford seems to have gone down the pan recently with quality.
Out of season but good roasted or cooked
All organic tomatoes are tasteless at the moment - these and M&S Organic Cherry Tomatoes. Neither are overly flavoursome, but this should change when organic tomatoes are in season. They still taste ok roasted or cooked. Plus they are organic – important as tomatoes are one of the dirty dozen for pesticide residues. They are great roasted, and perfect added to risotto, pasta and pizza. However, the only winter tomatoes I buy which are naturally grown and actually taste of tomatoes are Natoora Sicilian Datterini Tomatoes which are exquisite. Even in summer when organic tomatoes are from UK, Natoora Italian Datterini are hard to beat.
Over ripe before even getting near the fridge!
Purchased these on a flash sale, They were over ripe and so soft they couldn't be halved without spewing their contents everywhere. Won't buy again!
