Not as advertised
Im usually a big fan of the DE products but this is not at all as described or shown on the box. The photo shows large pieces of dried fruit. In the box I have there isnt a single raspberry or raisin, just some apple that is so small you need a magnifying glass! Surely they are going against the trades description acts showing this when all you get is a plain boring, slightly bitter muesli thats as boring as anything to eat? Dont buy!
Where's the fruit? Very powdery.
This was very disappointing, the only discernable piece of fruit in a fairly large serving was a very tough section of apple skin which was tasteless and impossible to eat in the end. I added fruit to it but as the oats are tiny and very powdery, it's still not great especially for the price. Better and cheaper to get some basic porridge oats and add your own fruit. I won't be getting this again.
Not too sweet but the apple pieces are really hard
Overall this was a disappointment, as I really like the Ella cereal bars. The muesli was good in terms of not being too sweet. However it was rather too ground up into small bits in the oats, but had horrible hard chunks of apple that were uncomfortable to swallow. Maybe they would say you are meant to soak it , but even after 10 mins still was not great. Would not buy again.
Changed for the worst!
Like recent reviews have said, this has changed beyond recognition and is now woefully overpriced for what it is. Almost all of the dried fruit has disappeared, you're lucky if you get a raspberry seed let alone a raspberry itself. It's basically just oats which taste stale. This used to be a favourite, now I can't bear to eat it.
Strange taste
This has always been my favourite muesli. Recently I've noticed a bitter, stale taste. I thought it was me at first or that it was the milk. Judging by other reviews it's clear there must be some recipe change. Such a shame.
Disgusting
This has the most intense bitter flavour it is absolute revolting. What is causing this taste? I dont understand! And any attempts to get an explanation from them, they ignore. Im concerned what is in it that it making it bitter
