Product information
Della Vite is a range of award-winning and sustainably made Proseccos, created by Chloe, Poppy and Cara Delevingne.
Taking its name from the Italian term for “of the vine”, the first joint venture between the sisters sees them partnered with a third-generation wine making family – the Biasiottos - whose winery is based in the Prosecco region of Valdobbiadene, Northern Italy, within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Della Vite fuses the latest technology with traditional production methods to produce high-quality, vegan-certified wines that capture the untold story of Prosecco’s heritage, craft and provenance.
Two bespoke wines have been created, combining an extra-long secondary fermentation and a unique selection of yeast strains for delicious, smooth bubbles and a distinctive, fresh taste. With hints of crostini and chamomile, Della Vite Prosecco Superiore DOCG is made exclusively from hand-picked Glera grapes and sits alongside the clean and bright Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC, which is perfect for mixing in cocktails. Both products are skilfully crafted with complex taste profiles.
Launched in late summer 2020, the wines have been widely acclaimed by Michelin starred restaurants, the world’s best bars and the media. Della Vite Prosecco Superiore DOCG also won a gold in The Drinks Business Autumn Tasting 2020, after being blind tasted by three Masters of Wine.

History
Della Vite is an award winning Prosecco, created by Chloe, Poppy and Cara Delevingne. Launched in 2020, Della Vite aims to re-imagine Prosecco by combining creativity and care for the planet, with three generations of wine-making knowledge to create a wildly delicious wine.
Regional Information
Beneath the Dolomite mountains in Northern Italy, the hills of Valdobbiadene are filled with knowledge and passion for making Prosecco. A region of quiet valleys and dramatic skylines, Glera grapes have been grown here since Roman times. Much of the area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, selected for conservation of its cultural and environmental significance. D.O.C.G is the highest marker of provenance and quality given by the ‘consorzio' (consortium), set up to monitor and maintain standards.

Vinification Details
Carefully selected DOCG-certified Glera grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed for a soft extraction. Our winery's on-site laboratory has created a unique yeast strain allowing for a longer (60 day) fermentation that develops the depth of flavour and rich texture. Post-ferment, the finished wine is lightly filtered through vegan-friendly ceramic filters.

Disappointed
Very average, and overpriced

Not dry enough
For those who enjoy dry champagne I'd avoid this Prosecco. It tastes medium-sweet to me and had to throw most of it away.

Simply the best prosecco I have ever tasted! It was crisp and dry with a lovely fresh taste. I shall most definitely be buying this again

Delicious
Really great, I am not a big drinker but do love champagne. I saw this on offer before Christmas and took a risk. It is so nice, I’ve bought a Fizz Keeper and am enjoying a smallish glass every night. It’s too nice to share.
