£18 per 75clProduct information
Taking its name from the Italian term for “of the vine”, the first joint venture between the sisters sees them partnered with a third-generation wine making family – the Biasiottos - whose winery is based in the Prosecco region of Valdobbiadene, Northern Italy, within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Della Vite fuses the latest technology with traditional production methods to produce high-quality, vegan-certified wines that capture the untold story of Prosecco’s heritage, craft and provenance.
Two bespoke wines have been created, combining an extra-long secondary fermentation and a unique selection of yeast strains for delicious, smooth bubbles and a distinctive, fresh taste. With hints of crostini and chamomile, Della Vite Prosecco Superiore DOCG is made exclusively from hand-picked Glera grapes and sits alongside the clean and bright Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC, which is perfect for mixing in cocktails. Both products are skilfully crafted with complex taste profiles.
Launched in late summer 2020, the wines have been widely acclaimed by Michelin starred restaurants, the world’s best bars and the media. Della Vite Prosecco Superiore DOCG also won a gold in The Drinks Business Autumn Tasting 2020, after being blind tasted by three Masters of Wine.

Tasting Notes:
Packed with a perfume of jasmine and lavender, Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC is refined and versatile. Made using a unique combination of homemade, natural yeasts - its crisp, light palette makes it perfect for all occasions and has a complete, multi-layered taste, which mixes well in cocktails. The palate is clean and bright with a mix of gooseberry, honeysuckle and white peach notes within small, creamy bubbles.
History:
Della Vite represents a collaboration between two families, the Delevingne sisters, its founders, and winemakers, the Biasiottos.
The Biasiotto family have been running their own winery, Foss Morai, for three generations, with a motto of ‘the long and steady way’ when it comes to creating world class wines.
The close-knit family team use sustainable practices, including solar powered production and ceramic filtration to create vegan certified wines.
Regional Information:
Della Vite’s Glera grapes grow on an ancient glacial terrain on the upper elevations of the valley of Valdobbiadene in the Veneto region of Italy. Wine growing conditions are unique on account of high levels of a sun and rainfall, and a gentle breeze from the Adriatic, which removes excess moisture from the grapes.

Vinification Details:
Glera grapes are hand-picked on the steep hills and carefully transported down to the solar powered winery which sits nestled at the heart of the Valdobbiadene valley. The grapes undergo a gentle pressing, and the juice is stored in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Unique yeast strains are inoculated from the region surrounding the winery and the culture is monitored in the onsite specialised yeast laboratory, which is one of only a handful in Italy.
The wine undergoes an extended secondary fermentation process of 60 days to gain complexity and to refine the mousse. It is then fined through a ceramic filter, producing a crystal clear vegan certified wine.

Can really taste the difference
I’ve tried the Della Vite Superiore before and really enjoyed it as a lighter and more refreshing alternative to champagne, so thought I’d give the Treviso a go, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! It’s got lovely creamy bubbles, but is much fresher than any Proseccos I’ve tried before and doesn’t have that sweet aftertaste. I’d really recommend giving it a try – you can absolutely taste the difference, so is 100% worth the investment!
Gorgeous
This is worth the price. Not sharp at all. I prefer this to champagne. Lovely drink.
So good that I bought one for all my friends!
Me and my friends love the fizz, well we try to, since most of the Prosecco in shops tastes cheap and the Champagne hurts the wallet. I thought I'd make sure this Christmas wasn't going to be disappointing on the Prosecco front and I did my research. All roads pointed to Della Vite and gosh it did not disappoint! Judge this book by its cover because not only does it looks the part it tastes fantastic! 2 words: Forget Champagne. I bought a couple of cases over Christmas and gave it all my friends, even left some out for Santa on Christmas eve to find he had drunk the whole bottle. Love it!
Better Proseccos available
Bought this for Christmas and was very disappointed. It tasted more like cheap Champagne - quite harsh. There are far better prosecco's available for half the price!
Not your average Prosecco
I'm reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This tastes closer to a champagne than a Prosecco. It was dry, crisp and very drinkable. The bottle is not clear as the picture may indicate, so it's a little hard to judge how much you've had if you're the type of person to drink a bottle in 2 sessions. If you're a prosecco drinker looking for more of the same you might be disappointed but it's a good alternative to Champagne.
Delicious
Perfect! Not too sharp! Buying again!
