tasty but a little oily
I used this just to put over some pan fried gnocchi for a quick lunch, I found it really tasty and perfect for an easy meal. Im a real wuss when it comes to spice so I prob wouldnt have bought it if Id seen the reviews here beforehand but I can honestly say, I did not taste any spice at all - just rich tomato and lovely sweet garlicky flavour. My only negative would be to say I found the sauce quite oily and splashing a small drop of sauce on my light coloured work top has left a small stain so be careful but I would buy again
Embarrassingly bad
I can see I'm the odd one out amongst the previous reviewers. I bought 2 pots on offer and I was so disappointed. I honestly expected quite an intense thick sauce which had been reduced down. I found the sauce quite the opposite, watery, didn't coat the pasta and was tasteless.
Why add spice?
I used to love these sauces for a fast pasta meal when I don't have time to make from scratch, but they all seem to be spicy now? Adding chilli to the ingredients means they all end up too hot and the other flavours are ruined? Even the delicious sweet pepper one now just tastes of chilli? If I want extra spice I could add it, but I don't? Please stop making them all taste the same.
always delicious
This is a great cupboard back up - makes delicious pasta and so quick and easy to throw together. Lovely served with rocket.
Lovely and so easy
This is a great dinner in 10 mins type thing.Didnt find it spicy at all, neither did kids.Wouldnt want to eat it regularly but as an emergency stand by it does the job.
spicy!
I like a bit of spice, but not all the time, and not when I chose something that didn't say it was spicy. This is pretty hot! Chilli is the last ingredient, now I look, but this sauce is spicy enough that it should be clearly stated on the front. My kids hated it. Won't get it again
