Here at Dorset Tea we believe there are two important things in life; a great cup of tea and the protection of our beautiful natural surroundings. That's why we've been working hard to find a sustainable teabag paper for our delicious tea. The new paper we use for our teabags is made from sustainable sourced wood pulp and vegetable starch, it is 100% biodegradable and can be industrially composted, so just pop them in your food waste bin once you've made your cuppa.
Marine Conservation Society
We want to make a real difference to the environment and changing our teabag paper isn't the only thing we've done. This year we've partnered with he Marine Conservation Society, a registered UK charity, which is fighting for the future of our ocean. We want to help them in working towards the goal of a cleaner, better-protected, healthier ocean. For seas full of life, where nature flourishes and people thrive.
Delicious Premium Tea
Rest assured, the move to biodegradable teabags hasn't changed the taste of our tea; it still tastes as good as the sunshine makes you feel. We blend the best quality Kenyan tea, grown in the Rift Valley, with the brightest, most flavoursome Rwandan leaves. We've also added a touch of malty Assam which gives it an extra depth of flavour. Naturally delicious premium tea.

Good everyday tea
I don't like my tea strong so don't let this stew for long, but it still has a good flavour and is refreshing.
great tasting tea
Great every day tea
Our favourite for every\-day drinking
We've been buying and drinking Dorset Tea for several years. The quality is consistently excellent. Recommended.
Really good tea
Was looking for a better tea than the one I'd been using for years and saw good reviews for Dorset so I tried it. Have had several boxes now and not found a problem with split bags. This morning I poured the water on and then forgot about it so it brewed for longer than normal - not terribly hot, but then I can't drink anything very hot, but the result was still a nice strong cup of tea with no bitterness.
not as good anymore as tea bags split
I love Dorset tea but something has happened to the quality of the tea bags - I'm guessing it's to do with being biodegradable/eco. Now, quite frequently the tea bags split open leaving you with a mouthful of tea leaves instead of a gorgeous mouthful of tea. I will continue to but as I love the tea but Dorset Tea - please sort this out.
