Why Active Carbon?
Activated Carbon is a special ingredient that acts like a magnet to absorb dirt and odours to leave your machine cleaner and fresher.
Preparation and Usage
1. Pour the powder (250 g) directly into the washing drum.
2. Start main wash cycle (at least 60 °C) without pre-wash cycle, without detergent and without laundry.
3. Machine is ready to use after disinfection.
Tip: Use every 1-2 months for optimum results.

not really sure what it did
I cant see any change in result, still looks clogged and have to use a whole packet which seems expensive to purchase every month
only does the drum and pipes.
I thought service it was the one that you soak the detergent drawer and wipe the door seal with - giving all accessible parts a custom clean. this is just a box of detergent powder you empty into the drum .
Made a well\-maintained washing machine stink...
I look after my washing machine well and clean it regularly. I prefer the powder cleaners, as they are simpler to use: empty the carton into the drum, turn it on and you're done. Another supermarket did a really good powder cleanser, but sadly - as with most of their best products - they stopped selling it. The equivalent product sold by the washing machine's own manufacturer is - at best - prohibitive in terms of cost, so I was pleased when I saw the Dr Beckmann one (a well-known brand at a reasonable price) and went for that. A couple of days after using the product, I noticed a really nasty smell in the room (rotten something - vegetable or animal, not clear) and couldn't think where it was coming from. Well, it is coming from my washing machine and, even though I always run an 'express' programme to remove residue after cleaning it, and after several washing loads, the smell persists (NB: the rubber seals are clean and there is no 'dirty' pooling water within). I am now at a loss re. what to do, as the reviews for the liquid products often say that they foam too much and end up flooding... I will certainly not buy this product again, as the rotting smell it left is - albeit in a milder form - still potent after a week and seems to be transferring to my washing loads. Yuk!
Great cleaning
I had some sticky residue in the drum and this is the only stuff that worked to get rid of it all and the machine is gleaming! Would highly recommend
Does the job
I was given this to review by Ocado (some months ago). I normally use soda crystals to clean my washing machine but tried this product the next time round. It cleans as stated, not much more to add. I suppose it's priced at a decent point but to be honest I'll stick to soda crystals- much cheaper and just as effective!
